Wooden flute, wooden stream
wooden sun, wooden moon
splinters of light

Energy held in the trees
to be felt by those in the present and the future

A feeling of "others"
in the trees, in the wood
others thoughts
others love held within
exposed through the breathing wood
not complete, not clear
but senses too strong not to be felt
not to be real

We're not the first, not the last
We dance the steps, others have danced
our feet create a vibration
recorded for all time in the metre
moving through the earth
Clear in the sound
as fingers tap the ancient tattoo...
